4 Months Old

Emily is now 4 months old! At her check-up, she weighed out at a whopping 17 lbs 2 oz! And she stands at 25" long! She's a healthy girl!!!

Yet again, the doctor was very impressed with her physical abilities... and couldn't believe that she stands almost on her own! However, we have to get her to crawl before she starts walking!!!

She's standing! Of course she has to hold on to something, but she's still standing! Today she stood for at least 30 seconds before leaning and tipping!!!

She LOVES her Excersaucer! She stands straight up! She knows how to make the music play, and has recently figured out that she can bounce and rock in it!

Emily went to see the physical therapist on Monday, and she's been given a clean bill of health. The doctor can see signs of what WAS there... for example, Emily has a small raw area on her neck, where she was bending it... in the fold of the neck.

But other than that, she has no more signs of Torticollis. Apparently it came and left with the cold she had!

The doctor still recommends doing a couple different stretches with Emily every day, just to make sure that neck muscle stretches out.

So she's all better! Whew!
